How long does it take to drive from Adelaide to Ayers Rock? At least 2 days if you don't want to drive all the way but I think about 13 hours. It';s alot eaiser to fly. We flew from Adelaide to Ayers Rock (Uluru) and it only took us 2 hours max, How long does it take to drive from Adelaide to Ayers Rock? It takes for ever to drive anywhere in Australia beware of the land trains they drive crazy out there.
